Mission Leader
Fr. Francisco Arredondo, OFM Cap.
I was born and raised in San Diego, CA. My parents are from Mexico.
I entered the Capuchin Franciscans of the Province of the Sacred Stigmata of St. Francis a few years after college.
I professed my first vows in the year 2000 and was ordained to the priesthood in 2010.
In 2016 I had the great privilege of being named a Missionary of Mercy by Pope Francis. I, along with over 700 priests from around the world, went to Rome to receive this special blessing by Pope Francis. He instructed us to preach God’s Mercy and to share his Mercy in the confessional.
With the permission of Bishop Noonan, we were able to come to the diocese of Orlando last summer to establish a presence and help the diocese.
I am currently the vocation director and the Vicar Provincial for the Province.
