St. Paul is more than a place of worship; it is the spiritual home for many in the Leesburg/Lake County area. Our goal is to help your family in their hour of mourning by showing them the path to honorably celebrate their loved one’s life and pray for the peaceful repose of their soul.
Funeral Mass Scheduling
The Funeral Mass is ordinarily celebrated during the 8:30 a.m. weekday community Mass. This Mass is live streamed, allowing family and friends who are unable to attend in person to participate remotely while also inviting the parish community to pray for the repose of the soul of the deceased.
For families who prefer a more private celebration, a Funeral Mass may also be scheduled on Tuesdays or Thursdays at 10:00 a.m. or 2:00 p.m., subject to the parish schedule and clergy availability.
Our parish is honored to accompany your family during this sacred time and will work with you to arrange a Funeral Mass that best meets your pastoral needs.
Music will be available during the Mass if the family is requesting. Options available are organist and cantor, organist only, cantor only or no music.
Offerings and Honoraria
Families may choose to offer honoraria to ministers who assist in the Funeral Liturgy. These offerings support the ministry of the Church and are never a condition for celebrating the funeral. We are here to serve every family with compassion and care.
