Mission

We are witnesses to the Catholic teaching that every human life is sacred, from conception to natural death. The life and dignity of every person must be respected and protected at every stage and in every circumstance. The right to life is the first and most fundamental human right, calling us as Catholics to actively work toward building a world that honors the dignity of every person and promotes justice, mercy, and peace.

Purpose

In collaboration with Catholic Charities of Central Florida, the Respect Life Apostolate seeks to foster a culture of life within our parish, our community, and our world. We strive to promote the dignity and protection of human life through prayer, education, advocacy, and compassionate action. Our efforts include, but are not limited to, protecting the unborn, upholding the dignity of immigrants, supporting the abused, elderly, homeless, imprisoned, and all the vulnerable individuals, and advocating for the protection of human life from womb to tomb.

Responsibilities

• Prayerfully participate in scheduled group activities, events, and initiatives.
• Support parish and community efforts that promote respect for life.
• Witness to the Gospel of life through compassion, service, and advocacy.
