Altar Linen Committee
What we do
The Altar Linen Committee is a quiet and reverent ministry of service behind the Altar. Members care for the Sacred linens used during Mass and ensure that all linens that touch the Body and Blood of Christ are treated with the dignity and respect they deserve.
Some Roles and Responsibilities include:
– Laundering, ironing, and caring for Altar linens. Including purificators, corporals, Altar cloths, finger towels, and baptismal linens.
– Making sure to follow the Church’s liturgical guidelines for the reverent handling and cleansing of Sacred linens.
